STOCKHOLM - Ahlstrom has launched BioProtect, a new, sustainable, and protective nonwoven solution for laundry care applications.
Incorporating patent pending technology, BioProtect has been designed to deliver high dye-catching performance, protecting laundry from color runs. Its ability to lock up loose dyes found in the wash water enables it to prevent dye transfer and colour runs, maintaining the original color of clothes, Ahlstrom said.
The product is biodegradable and biobased, utilising 100% naturally derived fibres and manufactured with wet-laid technology for premium quality.
