GRAZ – Nonwovens technology specialist, Andritz, has received an order to supply a neXline needlepunch eXcelle line from Italy-based, Manifattura Fontana – a manufacturer of nonwoven geotextiles and synthetic fibres.
The company, a subsidiary of Belgian technical textile solutions group, Sioen Industries, is expected to begin operations with the new technology as of October this year, leveraging, for the first time in Italy, the eXcelle line’s air-through bonding capabilities in combination with calendaring.
