BOLTON – UK fabric manufacturer Nonwovenn says it is on course to hit its target of achieving net zero by 2035 following a raft of investments in environmentally-friendly policies across its operations.
Just two years into its latest implementation plan, Nonwovenn says that it has sent zero waste to landfill for a second year running, instead converting it to ‘Refuse Derived Fuel’ through a service partner, which generates half a million kWh of renewable energy for use by highly energy-intensive industries.
