Environmental news and technical innovation in the nonwovens sector

LEIPZIG – Emtec Electronic, the German manufacturer of specialised measuring and testing equipment, says it is strengthening its business in North America with a switch to direct sales across the region.

As of January 1, 2025, North American manufacturers and converters from the paper, nonwovens and textile industries, as well as their suppliers can now contact Emtec.

The company has been indirectly active in North America for many years but says it will now expand its market presence with immediate effect, ultimately with the aim of being closer and able to respond directly and faster to all inquiries and requests.

Sales representative Eric Haagen has assumed responsibility for the North American market and is the first point of contact for all questions and suggestions.

“Emtec Electronic is really very grateful for the many years of cooperation with the American company Industrial Physics Inc. (formerly Technidyne Corporation) in terms of sales and service, which has been expired at the end of 2024,” the company said in a statement.

The Leipzig-based company has been developing, producing and distributing innovative testing solutions worldwide since 1995. The company has its origins in the pulp and paper industry, and has also been successful in the nonwoven and textile industry since 2015.
